Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama has conveyed a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Honourable Shri Narendra Modi for the occasion of 76th Independence Day of India, commemorated on Monday 15th August, 2022. In a congratulatory message to his counterpart, PM Bainimarama said Fiji appreciates the close partnership with India, which has enabled the two countries to enjoy warm and friendly relations based on our shared values and aspirations. The Head of the Fijian Government extended Fiji’s best wishes for continued success, peace, and prosperity of the people of the Republic of India. PM Bainimarama said Fiji is grateful for the many forms of assistance and the goodwill that India has shown towards Fiji’s development journey which has greatly impacted the people of Fiji.
