‘Your Europe, Your Say!’ is the annual event for young people organised by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
This year, the discussions will focus on disinformation and fake news. The goal of the event will be to raise awareness of the dangers of disinformation and to encourage the participants to become more active in the fight against fake news. It will focus on helping youngsters to detect disinformation easily and act against it. This EESC activity will be linked to the youth chapter of the Conference on the Future of Europe because a European youth that can make choices on the basis of trustworthy information is vital to our shared future.
