The European education and culture executive agency (EACEA) is holding an online information session to explain the funding opportunities available under the call for proposals ‘Centres of vocational excellence’.
Speakers will present the policy context and the objectives of the call for proposals, and will give advice on how to prepare and submit a good application.
This Erasmus action will provide young people and adults with the skills for fulfilling careers in an innovative, inclusive, and sustainable economy. Centres of vocational excellence provide training in specific areas for initial training of young people as well as for continuing up-skilling and re-skilling of adults. They are also intended to achieve much more:
- innovate teaching and learning methods
- work closely with businesses, social partners, universities etc.
- develop inclusive approaches to ensure nobody is left behind
- foster regional and local development, among other activities.
