The conference is intended for managers and professionals in the vocational and technical education, companies, representatives of ministries and social partners and other professional public.
The conference will present the results of the central development project in the field of vocational education in the period 2016 – 2021 – “Renovation of vocational education”. The introduction of apprenticeships was one of the priorities of this program’s period focused on the increased role of employers and the formation of individualized approaches in education.
At the conference, the results of the introduction of the apprenticeship form of vocational education will be presented by the professional staff of the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training together with employers and their representatives as well as school representatives participating in the project. The new developed model of individualisation with which we encourage and support the optimal development of each student will be presented altogether with the results of testing of the model and the development challenges in this field.
The conference will respond to the issue of the future development of the vocational and professional education system in Slovenia through plenary contributions and discussion. Representatives of professional institutions from Slovenia and abroad, as well as representatives of ministries and social partners, will participate.
