As the pandemic has shaken our understanding of the world and how things should work, now is the time to rethink what kind of governance is going to support the future we want to live in.
The green and digital transformation as well as policymaking should be human-centric, therefore built on trust, inclusive collaboration, and co-creation across different sectors and levels of government.
This conference, organised under the auspices of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, marks an important milestone in addressing this topic from the perspective of innovation, better regulation and quality, and learning how to anticipate possible futures; a touchpoint to ensure that governments are more flexible and better prepared to address future challenges in order to invest in and build better public services.
