This major conference, jointly organised by different sections of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and to be attended by its President, will bring together high-level representatives of European organised civil society, European institutions, national and local authorities, and the academic world.
The objectives of the conference will be to:
- build a strong narrative by setting energy poverty as a priority under the European Green Deal, the European pillar of social rights and the sustainable development goals (SDGs)
- focus on how European organised civil society, together with EU, national, regional and local authorities, can join forces to fight against energy poverty.
