The Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Ireland debates the draft Families Code.

Dublin: Yesterday afternoon, March 9, the group of the Cuban Mission in this city proceeded to discuss the draft of Families Code. At the beginning of the meeting, after listening to the notes of the national anthem and with the presence of the Cuban flag, the ambassador to this country, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, referred to the importance of these consultations.

He explained that they take place throughout the country until April 30.

During the debates, the participants highlighted that the draft is based on the principles of equality and respect for each citizen, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, skin color, religious belief or disability status. It is -it was highlighted- a document with scope for our entire society in terms of equality, non-discrimination, human dignity, which has a profound humanist character.

Topics such as the effects of filiation, parental responsibility, solidarity gestation, among others, grabbed the attention of the participants.
