Representatives of the Association of Cuban Residents in Ireland, “Ernesto Ché Guevara” hold a meeting with the new designated Ambassador.

Dublin, March 11: This afternoon, representatives of the “Ernesto Ché Guevara” Association of Cuban Residents in Ireland held a fraternal meeting with the new appointed ambassador to this country, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, and colleagues from the diplomatic mission in the Irish capital.

Held at the residence of the Head of Mission, the occasion was propitious for the exchange on topics of interest to Cuban residents. The rejection of the economic, commercial and financial blockade policy, intensified in recent years by the United States, the defense of the homeland against anti-Cuban aggression and campaigns, as well as the participation in the debates on the draft of Families Code, were some of the topics addressed.

Regarding the latter, the newly appointed Counselor in charge of Consular Affairs, Mabel Rodríguez Morera, explained to the attendees the methodology for sending proposals to the “Nation and Emigration” page, relying for this on the tutorial on the matter that appears in this website.

At the end of the meeting, the new ambassador urged Cubans in Ireland to support the work of the Association.
