Buenos Aires, January 6, 2022.- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla chairs the Cuban delegation that will participate in the XXII Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which will take place this Friday, January 7, at the Palacio San Martín, in Buenos Aires.
At the meeting, Mexico will transfer the Pro Tempore Presidency of the Community to Argentina. The meeting will make it possible to continue advancing in the revitalization of CELAC as a genuinely Latin American and Caribbean mechanism for political agreement, built on the principle of unity in diversity.
The Cuban delegation is made up of the Vice Minister of Foreign Relations and national coordinator for CELAC, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo; the director general of Multilateral Affairs and International Law of MINREX, Rodolfo Benítez Verson; the general director of Latin America and the Caribbean, Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, as well as other officials of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
