Today, April 22, 2021, took place the virtual signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the United Arab Emirates. This instrument will contribute to expand cooperation in the economic, commercial, industrial, scientific, technological, medical, and services field, etc.; as well as to strengthen the ties between the business community of both countries. The MoU highlights the interest of the two nations in further development and strengthening their bilateral ties.
The Cuban side was represented by the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Carricarte Corona, and the Cuban Ambassador to the UAE, Roberto Blanco DomÃnguez. On the Emirati side, the Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Humaid Ben Salem, and the Ambassador of this country in Havana, Bader Almatrooshi, participated. All the participants expressed their satisfaction for the excellent relations between the two countries and for the signing of this important agreement.
