Meeting of Ministers of Education of the ALBA-TCP session

The meeting of Ministers of Education of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples’ Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) held virtual sessions on the afternoon of Monday, February 22.
The meeting confirmed the need to forge alliances to face the challenges posed by the pandemic in the educational field and the willingness to continue working to comply with the agreements adopted in the field of education.
They also addressed issues related to the implementation of the post-pandemic work plan for 2021, approved by the Heads of State and Government at the XVIII ALBA-TCP Summit, held on December 14, 2020.
The Cuban delegation was led by the Ministers of Education and Higher Education, Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella and José Ramón Saborido Loidi, respectively. Other ministers, vice ministers and authorities of the alliance participated.
