On February 20, a solidarity meeting was held between the members of the Greek Committee for the Nobel Prize for Cuban doctors and Cuban diplomats in Greece, organized by the coordinator of the committee Velissarios Kosivakis. The Cuban ambassador to Greece Zelmys María Dominguez Cortina, accompanied by Counselor Jose Oriol Marrero Martinez and other members of the diplomatic mission, thanked the friendship and solidarity of the Greek friends.
The criminal US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba was condemned, Cuba’s confrontation with the pandemic was praised and solidarity with the Cuban people was reaffirmed.
Important Greek artists, together with Nikos Theodorakis, performed songs dedicated to Che and patriotic works by the great Mikis Theodorakis.
