Lebanese Prime Minister receives the Cuban Ambassador

Beirut, December 1, 2021. In a farewell visit for the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon, the ambassador of Cuba, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, was received at the Government Palace by the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Miqati.

He also pointed out that thanks to Cuba’s scientists and strong biopharmaceutical industry, which was able to develop 5 vaccines against Covid-19, the largest of the Antilles was once again opening up to the world and beginning the necessary economic recovery.

The Cuban Head of Mission recognized the possibilities of establishing mutually beneficial collaboration mechanisms between Cuba and Lebanon in the health sector, and the production of vaccines and other medicines, where the island has reached a high level of development.

The diplomat thanked the Lebanese premier for the support received by the Lebanese authorities in the performance of his duties, and wished a future of peace and prosperity to the brotherly Lebanese people. (Embacuba Líbano)
