Kuwaiti media in the Arabic language gave wide coverage to statements by the Cuban Ambassador to Kuwait, José Luis Noriega Sánchez, regarding the process of creating five (5) vaccine candidates against Covid-19, and in particular the efficacy of the vaccine candidate Abdala . The media also referred to the obstacles imposed by the blockade of US to Cuba, which prevents the vaccination process from going faster as well as the acquisition of medical resources. Also, the strong support in the UN General Assembly for the Cuban resolution that calls for lifting the blockade.
