That the United States’ criminal embargo against Cuba ends
Since the late 1960s, all the governments of the United States have imposed and maintained until today an economic, commercial and financial embargo (blockade) against the Republic of Cuba.
In all these years, US imperialism and their respective administrations have not renounced their goal of overthrowing the Cuban Revolution and placing the country under their own domination.
To this end, in April 2019, the then United States government intensified its aggression by taking new measures aimed at economically strangling the brave and proud people of Cuba.
These reactionary measures include prosecuting people operating in Cuba, imposing sanctions on shipping companies that transport oil, imposing drastic restrictions on visits by U.S. citizens, and even restrictions on remittances from Cubans residing in the United States to their families in Cuba. .
During the pandemic, the US imposed a ban on supplies of sanitary materials, such as respirators, which are necessary equipment for Intensive Care Units, without which patients are led to death !!!
The universal blockade of the United States against the Cuban people constitutes an inhuman act, and even more murderous, that is not legitimized even under conditions of war!
Greece, despite the fact that every year in the UN General Assembly votes against the illegal embargo, in practice it participates and submits to the decisions of the EU and the US, disregarding, among other things, that Cuba firmly and consistently support Greece and Cyprus. in relevant UN resolutions.
This cruel and criminal policy led by the United States irreparably and horribly affects the standard of living of the Cuban people and openly undermines the development of the country.
We demand:
– The immediate lifting of the US blockade against Cuba.
– The non-compliance of the EU with the provisions on the blockade.
– The total distancing of the country from the implementation of imperialist sanctions against Cuba.
