Fraternal meeting held by officials of the Cuban State Mission in Guyana with CARICOM

Georgetown, Guyana. February 9, 2022. The Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. of Cuba to Guyana, Ricardo Lamas Camejo held a meeting with CARICOM executives where both sides dealt with topics of mutual interest related to the strengthening of relationships between this Regional organization, and Cuba

Present for CARICOM were: Ambassador Donna Forde, Assistant Secretary-General for Foreign and Community Relations of this organization, Dr. Douglas Slater, Assistant Secretary-General for Social and Human Development, as well as Jhonson Alexander, Executive of the Office of Foreign and Community Relations.

We were accompanied by the head of the Cuban Medical Collaboration to Guyana, Dr. Ineldo Ruiz Arcia, and Mayra de la Caridad León Pérez, an official of the Embassy.

The meeting took place in a fraternal atmosphere of solidarity and collaboration between both sides.
