Finnish company NEMO shows interest in cooperation with INRH of Cuba

Helsinki, July 1st. – The CEO of the company “NEMO” (North European Mobilization Organization LTD), Pekka Lönnqvist visited the Cuban Embassy in this capital and was received by the Charge D’Affaires a.i of the Caribbean Island, Víctor Manuel Rodríguez Etcheverry.

During the meeting, the businessman showed interest in cooperating with the Island in a water purification plant project for Cuban population settlements, installed in several countries and with proven success. Lönnqvist was also interested in the regulations for foreign investment, since Cuba is an ideal destination for its technology, since he expressed that, although he has not visited it yet, since he was a child it has provoked feelings of respect and affection towards his honest and worker people, which he recognized that is highly qualified in many sectors and this will not be the exception to achieve a successful technology transfer.

The Cuban diplomat updated him on the subject in question, exchanged contacts and agreed to continue the dialogue already begun between the NEMO Company and the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources of Cuba, which is in direct contact with them.

The Northern Europe Mobile Organization (NEMO Ltd) operates in the commercial fields of solar energy (PV) and water purification / management. The company is located in Helsinki with a strong international commercial network and long experience and wide competence. The initial focus is to meet the needs for both electric power and potable water in emerging markets and also in developed countries that lack grid infrastructure and have challenges with water purification technology.
