Monrovia, February 12, 2021.- With the participation of members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Liberia, the opening ceremony of training for Liberian officials who will serve abroad took place.
Representing Cuba at the ceremony was the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.
The opening ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Monrovia, and came as the ministry kicked off a month of training for some 30 prospective foreign service officers in preparation for deployment to Liberia’s diplomatic missions around the world.
This training will allow for a combination of specialization and experience and will strengthen operational skills in public diplomacy, negotiations and communication.
