Monrovia, June 10, 2021 – A friendly meeting was held today between the Cuban head of mission Mercedes L. MartÃnez Herrera and the president of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group Mr. Kesselee King Kanneh.
During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat informed the head of the solidarity group in the African country about the celebration of a new virtual event Solidarity vs. Blockade and thanked the members of the friendship association for their firm support to Cuba against the blockade, aggressions and media manipulation.
For his part, Mr. Kesselee reiterated the support of the Liberian friendship group for Cuba in its condemnation, denunciation and struggle against the genocidal and illegal blockade that affects not only the Caribbean country but also third countries.
He also confirmed the participation of the members of the solidarity group in this virtual event.
