Cuban culture celebrated in Malaysia

The Embassy of Cuba in Malaysia organized this Wednesday, together with the Rotary Club of Petaling Jaya, a Cuban Night, a cultural and culinary event that brought together a hundred members of that organization, to share details about the life, culture and achievements of Cuba.
On this evening, guests were transported to the Caribbean nation through food, videos, music, costumes and rum.
In addition, the Cuban ambassador to Malaysia, Florentino Batista González, spoke about the similarities between the two countries, Cuba’s progress in areas such as education, health and biotechnology, and the characteristics of Cubans, as well as the qualities shared with the malays
The Cuban Night was combined with the celebration of the 117 years of the Rotary Club, an international organization that brings together businessmen from all sectors and whose delegation from the city of Petaling Jaya is one of the most important in Malaysia.
