Islamabad, December 17th, 2021._At the invitation of the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ambassador Zéner Caro paid a productive working visit to the city of Gujranwala, an important industrial and manufacturing center in the province of Punjab.
In his meetings with the directors and members of the Chamber, the head of the diplomatic mission confirmed the interest of local businessmen in the Cuban market, as well as identified several sectors of interest to boost bilateral economic and trade ties.
In a tour of the recently inaugurated Exhibition “Made in Gujranwala 2021”, the ambassador appreciated at first hand the productions of the main companies of Gujranwala and was able to learn about the preferential policies implemented there to stimulate the development of SMEs and stimulate their projection towards the foreign market. The displays of companies such as Sonex, Mehboob Group, Pak Shuttle, Golden Dynamics and Golden Pumps caused an excellent impression.
