New Delhi, February 12th, 2022. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, visited the National Law University of Delhi where he received a warm welcome by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Srikishna Deva Rao. During the cordial meeting, the opportunities for cooperation between the Cuban institutions of higher education were evaluated.
In the exchange held by the Cuban diplomat with professors of the University, the historical ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation that unite Cuba and India were highlighted, as well as the figures of the historical leader Fidel Castro and Ernesto Che Guevara and their role in the development of bilateral ties. The ambassador also thanked the Indian people and government for their support to our struggle to denounce the unjust and illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States to Cuba.
