Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka visits the Minister of Health
Colombo, Sri Lanka, August 26, Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Health of Sri Lanka received the Ambassador of Cuba Andrés Marcelo González Garrido at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health.
In the cordial meeting, the Ambassador of Cuba exchanged on the initiatives of the government of his country to combat the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as the vaccination programs for the population with the application of vaccines developed in Cuba.
On his side, the minister updated the Cuban representative on the behavior of the pandemic in Sri Lanka.
Minister Rambubukwella was recently appointed as Minister of Health, previously he held the portfolio of Minister of Mass Media.
