Kampala. The Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques paid a courtesy call on Mr. Bangire Vincent Waiswa, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uganda.
The Cuban diplomat explained Cuba’s performance in the confrontation with COVID 19 and the challenges of the Cuban economy for this year 2022.
For his part, the Ugandan official ratified Uganda’s support for the fight against the US blockade against Cuba, and pointed out the efforts being made to open the Embassy of that country in Havana this year.
