Several Latin American Ambassadors and high officials of the Ministry of External Affairs of India met last Friday, March 14, at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Alejandro Simancas Marin. Among them were the Honorable Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture, Meenakshi Lekhi, and the Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Gloria Gangte, both from the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The friendship meeting was dedicated to International Women’s Day and was also an opportunity to bid farewell to the Ambassador of Guatemala, Giovanni Castillo, who is concluding his diplomatic mission. During the meeting, the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite India with Cuba and with the Latin American and Caribbean region were ratified.
