Cuba and Iran strengthen parliamentary ties.

Tehran, June 2, 2021. Distinguished deputy Mr. Abolfaz Amouei, spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran and Chairman of the Iran-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group received H.E. Mr. Alexis Bandrich Vega, Ambassador of Cuba in the Islamic Republic of Iran with whom he exchanged in a fraternal atmosphere on the common interest of strengthening ties between legislative bodies, and bilateral relations between both countries. Similarly, they exchanged on issues of common interest related to the regional and international situation. Mr. Amouei took the opportunity to send an affectionate greeting to Cuban deputy Pedro Víctor Simón Rodríguez, President of the Cuba-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group in our National Assembly of People’s Power, to whom he extended an invitation to visit Iran in the near future.
