Monrovia, May 3, 2021 – At the headquarters of our Cuban Embassy in Liberia, we welcomed the visit of the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bureau of American Affairs Hon. Maxwell P. Vah, who was received by the Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.
During the exchange, which took place in a constructive and cordial atmosphere, several topics related to cooperation in the multilateral sphere were discussed, and the common interest in developing it was ratified.
The blockade issue was present in the exchange held by both diplomats, occasion in which the Cuban diplomat once again condemned the resurgence of the genocidal policy against Cuba in times of pandemic, calling it “the cruelest virus ever thought of”.
