The intention of the organizers is to maintain 24 hours of uninterrupted transmissions to denounce the genocidal policy against the island.

On April 2 and 3, a World Media Marathon will be organized by the Europe for Cuba channel to reject by all possible means of communication the U.S. blockade against the Antillean island.
Al Mayadeen in Spanish joins this call, which reminds that Cuba is not alone in its struggle against the infamous blockade, to raise its voice from its platforms against a unilateral policy almost unanimously repudiated by the international community and expressed in the UN General Assembly with 29 resolutions adopted by that international forum.
Wafica Ibrahim, Advisor to the Board of Directors and Director of Latin America, detailed the activities they will undertake as part of the Media Marathon, among which are special videos and cartoons, interviews and visualization on social networks, with which, in addition, “we follow up on our editorial policy in which Cuba, its struggle and its example of resistance against the empire, have a prominent role.
“We want more and more people to join the call, that more and more of us denounce what is happening on that small island. That the people raise their voices, that their governments listen to them and condemn that policy, and other atrocities that are committed there and in other parts of the planet, such as what is happening in Palestine, blockaded and humiliated by ‘Israel’ and that the world does nothing”.
Al Mayadeen in Spanish joins other media around the world in ratifying its unconditional support to the Greater of the Antilles, which suffers the cruel living conditions imposed by the refusal of the United States to lift unilateral sanctions in an attempt to break the Cuban people and government.
The intention of the organizers is to maintain 24 hours of uninterrupted transmissions, with the contribution of more than one hundred Cuban radio stations, as well as Prensa Latina, the Russian agency Sputnik, among other media from various parts of the planet, and the participation of friends all over the world, who will spread the impact of the inhumane US blockade on Cuba.
The information platform Resumen Latinoamericano, the party La Francia Insumisa (LFI) and the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) and the Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain (PCPE) have expressed their repudiation of the economic, commercial and financial siege and their support for the initiative.
According to the coordinators of Europe for Cuba José Antonio Toledo and Patricia Pérez, the list is already long of traditional and alternative media, as well as political, trade union and solidarity organizations that have confirmed their participation.
The organizers have also pointed out that all the media that so wish, regardless of their degree of social influence and capacity can join.

This video will be published in the dates prior to the activity in the Europa por Cuba channel.
In addition, before March 20, you must indicate the time slot in which the media outlet will join in the denunciation of the blockade, or publication of the article, in the case of the written press. Europe for Cuba will activate a whatsapp group and a Telegram group to provide documents to those who wish to do so.
