Minister Ng to lead virtual trade mission to South Korea

Today, the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, announced that she will lead a group of Canadian businesses on a virtual trade mission to South Korea. Conducted via a web-based conference, the trade mission will offer 2 separate programs to explore business opportunities in South Korea’s highly dynamic market: This builds upon the recently announced first-ever virtual trade mission for women entrepreneurs to South Korea, hosted by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APFC). On November 3 and 4, 2020, Minister Ng will participate in the APFC mission to support women entrepreneurs seeking to expand their businesses into the South Korean market.  The need for Canada’s trade to be well diversified has never been more clear. As Canadian businesses confront the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada will continue to support the growth of established and aspiring exporters.
