January 12, 2023 – Ottawa, Ontario – Global Affairs Canada During the meeting, Ministers Ng and Kuria discussed the priorities and on-going efforts of the Ottawa Team on WTO reform, which includes dispute settlement reform, and how to make progress on these and other initiatives in the lead-up to MC13. Minister Ng highlighted Canada’s commitment to fostering a close partnership with Kenya, especially expanding our bilateral commercial ties in the clean technologies, Internet and communications technology, education, services and infrastructure industries. Minister Ng underlined Canada’s commitment to cooperation in areas of shared curiosity that facilitate trade plus investment opportunities for Canada and Kenya. Today, the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, met with Moses Kiarie Kuria, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary of Ministry of Trade, Investment and Business.
