Together, they will discuss how Canada and the Kingdom of Denmark can continue to expand bilateral ties and security cooperation, including by supporting a safe, secure and well-defended Arctic. Minister Joly and Minister Kofod will also discuss Russian President Vladimir Putin’s illegal and unjustifiable invasion of Ukraine, as well as its impacts on food and energy security and the rules-based international order. Minister Joly and her Danish and Greenlandic partners will discuss outstanding boundary issues in the area between Canada and Greenland, as well as the importance of freedom of movement of Inuit in the North.
