Canada provides additional humanitarian assistance to Nagorno-Karabakh and continues to promote efforts to find sustainable peace

The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Honourable Karina Gould, Minister of International Development, today issued the following statement: “Canada continues to support efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and is deeply committed to addressing its grave humanitarian consequences. Building on Canada’s support provided in the immediate aftermath of the fighting in 2020, we are announcing an additional $1 million to support the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Nagorno-Karabakh.Source
