The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation holds a general assembly for all the staff of the Ministry

On 5/10/2021, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation Mr. Isidore NTIRAMPEBA represented His Excellency the Minister Ambassador Albert SHINGIRO during a general assembly held for the staff of the Ministry.

In his speech, Mr. Isidore NTIRAMPEBA recalled the measures to fight against COVID-19 and invited all the staff to respect barrier gestures and to apply more rigor in the implementation of measures to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation Mr. Isidore NTIRAMPEBA seized the opportunity to recall the elementary rules that must characterize each civil servant. He cited, among other things, punctuality at work, processing files on time and meeting deadlines in the transmission of reports.

During this general meeting and after a briefing on the key files falling within the remit of each department, the newly appointed Senior Managers and Executives and those outgoing proceeded to the handover and the takeover.

The outgoing Senior Managers thanked the country’s High Authorities for the confidence they had been given and promised to stay close to those who will replace them whenever necessary to provide them with the necessary support.

The incoming Senior Managers and Executives in turn appreciated the trust placed in them by His Excellency the President of the Republic, His Excellency the Prime Minister and His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, and promised to do everything to carry out their assigned responsibilities.

The General Assembly closed with the presentation of the Executives who have returned to the Ministry from other institutions.
