Within the framework of maintaining good relations of cooperation between Burundi and the Kingdom of Belgium, the Ambassador of Burundi in Brussels, His Excellency Mr. Thérence NTAHIRAJA visited the General Management of the Brussels Airlines company, on February 8, 2023.
It should be noted that cooperation between Burundi and the Kingdom of Belgium has evolved positively since the signing of the General Convention for Cooperation and Technical Assistance on July 29, 1963 in Brussels. It should also be noted that the interventions of the Belgian Government in Burundi are carried out by its Cooperation Agency “ENABEL”, and take care of health, agriculture and education.
On this occasion, the exchange was centered on a single point. This is the strengthening of Bujumbura-Brussels air transport. As a reminder, Burundi now has six airlines companies operating on its land, namely: Kenya Airways, RwandAir, Air Tanzania, Uganda Airlines, Ethiopian and Brussels Airlines. Brussels Airlines has now two flights a week fixed on Wednesday and Sunday.
