The Ambassador of Burundi in Brussels participates in the seminar under the theme “honorary consuls in 2022, missions and challenges”

On Monday october 24, 2022, the Ambassador of Burundi in Brussels participated in the seminar led by H.E Olivier Belle, Belgian Protocol Director, under the theme: “Honorary Consuls in 2022, Missions and Challenges”, within the framework to respond to the invitation addressed to him by the Governor of Namur, the Rector of the University of Namur and the Consular Corps of Namur, Capital of the Walloon Region of the Kingdom of Belgium.
In his presentation on the theme “Honorary Consuls in 2022, Missions and Challenges”, Belgian protocol Director insisted on the status of Honorary Consuls, their roles and their attributions. It was a well written, rich and documented work. Several personalities responded to the invitation, including Diplomats, Academics, Honorary Consuls, students and other senior executives from the Walloon Region. It should be noted here that among all the African Ambassadors, only the Ambassador of Burundi in Brussels and that of Côte d’Ivoire were invited to this seminar.
After the exchanges of the participants with the presenter, the Governor of the Province of Namur offered a reception in honor of all the participants.
