On January 24, 2022, His Excellency Thérence NTAHIRAJA, Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi in Brussels received in audience His Excellency Aden M. DILEITA, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti newly accredited in Brussels.
They discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations between Burundi and Djibouti and the mutual support between the two Diplomatic Missions.
Since Burundi will coordinate the East Africa Region of the OACPS from February 2022 until July 31, 2022, His Excellency Thérence NTAHIRAJA took the opportunity to make a summary on the advancement state of the post Cotonou agreement which is already at the initial stage, awaiting the signature.
His Excellency ADEN promised to work closely with Burundi to better advance the activities of this region and for the benefit of all of Africa.
The two Ambassadors did not forget to discuss the preparations for the Summit of Heads of State of the African Union and those of the European Union scheduled for February 17 and 18, 2022.
