As part of the warming of bilateral relations between Burundi and the European Union and in the framework of the celebration of Europe Day, a friendly match was organized between a team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Development, and a team from the European Union, at the Kabondo Football Center field, on Saturday May 08, 2021.
The 1st pass was launched by H.E Ambassador Albert SHINGIRO, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation to H.E Claude BOCHU, Ambassador of the European Union Delegation, as a sign of the opening of the match.
This match was held in a very friendly atmosphere with each other’s efforts to win more goals, but it ended with a score of two goals everywhere. The match was closed by a cocktail, in a relaxed atmosphere.
