On March 3, 2021, the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Beijing, together with the Bulgarian community in China, celebrated the occasion of the National Day. The reception was organized in a limited circle due to the epidemic prevention measures. The guests from the Chinese side were the few prominent Chinese specialists of Bulgarian studies from universities and academia, including professors, researchers, teachers and lecturers. The students from the affiliated with the Embassy Bulgarian school “St. St. Cyril and Methodius ” had personally made Bulgarian “martenitsas” (Bulgarian traditional handicraft ”March flower”), and they gave them as gifts to the guests upon arrival at the reception. The attendees of the event were greeted with a solemn message by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to China, H.E. Mr. Grigor Porozhanov.
