In the Diplomats category of the tournament, representatives of the diplomatic missions in our country and the representatives of the international organizations accredited in the Republic of Bulgaria, honorary consuls, as well as guests from abroad, took part.
During the event, Minister Teodora Genchovska stated that sport is much more than physical development, stressing that it brings people together, affirms team spirit and respect for each other.
At the ceremony, cups were also awarded to the other winners in the categories of the sports competition.
The annual Diplomats and Friends golf tournament under the patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs was held on July 30, 2022 at Pirin Golf Club Bansko. The players were divided into two divisions – Diplomats and Friends, and in each of the groups there were two handicap groups.
At the award ceremony, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska presented the cup for the best gross score to the winner Dimitar Georgiev, Honorary Consul of Ukraine. He won the award for the second year in a row.
