On April 28, 2021 the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to China Grigor Porozhanov held an online meeting with the management and students of the Hebei International Studies University, after which the students learned interesting facts about our country through a lecture on “Bulgarian culture and traditional arts” by the director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Veliko Tarnovo – Iskra Mandova. The Ambassador and the university President expressed their satisfaction with the development of teaching Bulgarian as a second foreign language at Hebei International Studies University.
The lecture by Ms. Mandova on “Bulgarian culture and traditional arts” presented brief information about Bulgaria, presented Bulgarian holidays, traditional rites, Bulgarian ancient treasures and archaeological monuments, Bulgarian cities and major tourist sites
