The author presented to the guests her photographs and the vision behind them. The exhibition consists of 3 parts – “In Bloom”, “In Blue” and “In Love” and includes 72 shots taken over the last 5 years.
The Consul General, Mr. Angel Angelov, welcomed the guests and expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to host an exhibition of a young and talented representative of the Bulgarian community. He also presented to the guests some of the main events included in the calendar of the Consulate General, emphasizing the celebration of the National Day of Bulgaria with a flag raising ceremony in Bowling Green Park on March 4 and a major event for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the rescue of the Bulgarian Jews on March 30.
On February 17, 2023, the Consulate General in New York hosted the first solo photo exhibition in New York of the renowned Bulgarian choreographer Iva Iordanova. Many art connoisseurs, including representatives of the Bulgarian community and American guests attended the event.
