The festive atmosphere of the first vernissage of the year was given by the musical participation of the young Polish pianist Michal Oleshak – a student at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Thanks to a number of BCI initiatives, serious cooperation has already been established between this university and higher music schools in Bulgaria.

Ambassador Margarita Ganeva supported the idea of the artist Ivayla Zhivkova, announcing the launch of an ambitious project to further develop BCI’s long-standing desire to provide space for expression of artists of Bulgarian origin and Bulgarian roots living in Poland and professionally or amateurly with talent in various genres of art. The first artistic meeting in a wide range was officially announced to take place in September this year.

The artist Iv. Zhivkova-Roshak officially made a donation of her work of art, made on a canvas depicting “St.St. Cyril and Methodius ”, with the explicit message – to install it in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria and use it together with BCI.
