June 2 is the Day of the Bulgarian National Liberation Heroes. This day commemorates the Bulgarian liberation poet Hristo Botev and the other heroic Bulgarians who died for the liberation.
On the occasion of Bulgarian Heroes‘ Day – June 2, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Grigor Porozhanov and the Military Attache of national defense, land army, navy and air force – Colonel Evgeni Genchev, presented flowers in front of the Hristo Botev sculpture in Jintai Art Gallery in the capital’s Chaoyang Park.
Yuan Xikun, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, well-renown artist and director of the Jintai Art Museum, also presented flowers in front of the Hristo Botev sculpture.
