Deputy Minister Velislava Petrova participated in the Bled Strategic Forum

The forum was opened by Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon, Slovenian President Borut Pahor and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Among the participants in the international event were Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.   
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova participated in the Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia, held on 29 and 30 August 2022.
In the framework of the forum, Deputy Minister Velislava Petrova held meetings with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Marko Štucin, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani and with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz.  
The Bled strategic forum this year is entitled “The Rule of Power or the Power of Rules”. The current geopolitical challenges and the consequences of the war in Ukraine as well as the European Union’s response to the current crises were discussed during the event.
