Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova received copies of letters of credence from the Ambassador of Angola

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova received copies of letters of credence from Alsino dos Prazeres Izata Francisco da Conceição, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of Bulgaria, based in Belgrade, Serbia.

During the meeting, the desire to build on what has been achieved so far and to deepen the political dialogue and trade and economic cooperation between the two countries was confirmed.

Deputy Minister Petrova stressed that our country attaches great importance to traditionally friendly relations with Angola. She pointed out that in addition to structuring the political dialogue, it is necessary to deepen cooperation between sectoral ministries.

During the conversation, Deputy Minister Petrova and Ambassador Conseisau agreed that the two countries would continue to build on traditionally good relations and shared expertise in human capital and infrastructure development, as well as make efforts to specify new investment opportunities and operational partnerships. . For both countries, education was highlighted as a key area for cooperation, and the Angolan side again expressed gratitude for the assistance received for the education of a large number of Angolan youth and servicemen, as well as for the contribution of Bulgarian teachers to the secondary and higher education system in Angola.
