The 21st China International Fair for Investment and Trade took place in Xiamen, Fujian province on 8-11 September 2021. Bulgaria participated with a booth set by the Consulate General in Shanghai. The Consul General of Bulgaria Mr. Vladislav Spasov gave a speech at the Fourth High-level Forum on “Belt and Road” Development and the Head of the Commercial Section of the Consulate General Mr. Kostadin Djatev presented Bulgarian start-ups at the Exchange meeting on Cross-border Cooperation. At matchmaking meetings, the Bulgarian investment environment was presented to the interested Chinese companies.
According to the organizing committee of the 21st CIFIT, in the international fair in person and online participated 90 countries and regions, more than 820 delegations and 4 900 companies, as well as around 50 000 merchants.
