On 27 October, Ambassador Maria Pavlova had a meeting with Professor Tawana Kupe, Vice Chancellor and Principal of the University of Pretoria. During the meeting, potential partnership between the University of Pretoria and Bulgarian universities was discussed, as well as the possibility for the University of Pretoria to take part in the initiatives marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and South Africa. The University leadership confirmed its willingness to discuss collaborative projects with Bulgarian Higher Education institutions as well as to partner with the Bulgarian embassy in the events to celebrate the 30-th anniversary.
