The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani conveyed to the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kais Saied greetings and good wishes from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and those from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister as well as their wishes of security, stability, and prosperity to the Tunisian people.  
 
This came as the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kais Saied received at the Presidential Palace today H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.  
 
The Tunisian President tasked the Minister of Foreign Affairs with conveying his warm greetings to His Majesty the King and his wishes for a prosperous Bahrain. The Tunisian President appreciated the notable position of the Kingdom of Bahrain supporting Tunisia during the current circumstances.  



 
He also hailed the development process of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King. He further noted that the Kingdom’s Constitution stipulates the importance of peace and human dignity, thus mirroring the humane aspect of the Constitution and making it such a distinguished rich constitutional experience. He further praised the cultural significance of the Kingdom thanks to its geographical location and ancient civilizations.  
 
H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani conveyed to the Tunisian President His Majesty’s affirmation that the Kingdom of Bahrain stands in solidarity with the Republic of Tunisian and supports its efforts to overcome the current political, health, and economic conditions in Tunisia to achieve security, stability, and prosperity. 


The Foreign Minister underscored that the Kingdom trusts that both the President and Tunisia can overcome this situation. He also stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s respect for Tunisia’s internal affairs, adding that this is a matter of sovereignty in which nobody can interfere. He further affirmed the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Tunisian people, calling the international community to support the Tunisian leadership in these urgent conditions. He wished the Republic of Tunisia and its people stability and prosperity.  
 
The meeting was in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Othman Jerandi, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Tunis, Ibrahim Mahmoud Ahmed.
