Third political consultations meeting convenes between Kingdom of Bahrain and Republic of Poland
The third political consultations meeting was convened virtually today between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Poland, under the chairmanship of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the Undersecretary of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pawel Jablonski.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa praised the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Poland, which are based on mutual respect and constructive cooperation in various fields, noting that the countries celebrated this month three decades of diplomatic relations between them.
He also expressed the Kingdom’s aspiration for Poland’s participation in the implementation of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030’s programs and initiatives, in light of an encouraging business environment as well as logistical capabilities and the Kingdom’s leadership in technical and financial technology.
He also appreciated the positive role played by Poland in enhancing peace and coexistence, noting that Warsaw had hosted the third edition of the ministerial conference on advancing freedom of religion or belief.
The Undersecretary for International Affairs underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation to overcome the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, reviewing in this regard the efforts and effectives measures of Bahrain Team led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The meeting discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two sides and coordinating positions regarding issues of common interest.
