The Minister of Foreign Affairs receives a number of diplomatic employees to take the legal oath
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received at the Ministry’s headquarters today a number of diplomatic employees, in the presence of the Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al Dossari.
Also present were the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Tawfiq Ahmed Al-Mansour, and the Executive Director of the Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The diplomatic employees took the oath before the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to the provisions of the diplomatic and consular corps law.
During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the diplomatic personnel at the ministry and at the diplomatic missions abroad and noted the sincere efforts they exert to perform the tasks and duties entrusted to them for the sake of enhancing diplomatic work and implementing the foreign policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, looking after its interests and serve its citizens.
This is also in implementation of the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad Isa Al Khalifa and in fulfillment of the efforts of the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing them continued success in carrying out their responsibilities.
In their turn, the diplomatic staff expressed their pride and appreciation for the care and support received by the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the wise leadership, and for the efforts made by the esteemed government and the ministry to enhance diplomatic work at home and abroad.
They also hailed the leadership’s efforts in taking care of the diplomatic cadres, developing their capabilities, and raising their efficiency, affirming keenness to continue performing their duties, with all sincerity, devotion and loyalty to the homeland and its wise leadership.
